Getty ImagesWe’ve heard a lot of optimistic talk out of Cardinals camp that the team is deeper at cornerback then ever. That depth is set to be tested.
Starter Greg Toler went down to a knee injury on Saturday night. While the team is only calling it a “sprain” for now, it didn’t look good when watching the replays.
Toler’s injury could open up a spot for No. 5 overall pick Patrick Peterson to start early in the year. Peterson made a big impact in Saturday night’s game with an interception of Philip Rivers which Peterson returned for a score.

This is Kolb’s fault. Since he got traded for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie….if Cromartie was still there, this wouldn’t be an issue.
The Cardinals played great the first half and dominated the disinterested Chargers. San Diego will not start quicker if they don’t wake up.
Cards should trade a 2013 5th rd pick to the Eagles for Joselio Hanson.
Greg Toler, was the main reason, the Cards were able to make the deal with the Eagles.
It was his time to be a starter …
tough break for him ..
If you think it’s Kolb’s fault, you should be blaming Derek Anderson. If it wasn’t for him the Cards wouldn’t have needed to trade for a QB.
And if it wasn’t for Kurt Warner retiring, they wouldn’t have gotten stuck with Derek Anderson
I don’t know what half of football you watched Paulnoga and how you got all those likes to your comment but the cardinals did not Dominate the chargers.let’s be real. Haha
