APFormer Bears fourth-round pick guard Josh Beekman was among eight players waived by the Colts on Sunday.
The full list as decided on by multiple Polians: tackle Casey Bender, wide receiver Joe Horn (not that one), running back Devin Moore, safety Chip Vaughn and quarterback Mike Hartline. The team also waived/injured linebacker Cody Glenn and defensive back Mike Newton.
Vaughn used to play for the Saint, while Glenn was a solid special teamer for the Colts last year.
All teams need to get down to an 80-man roster by Tuesday. The expanded rosters will help teams get through the fourth preseason game on Thursday.
We’ll be curious to see how much Kerry Collins plays for Indianapolis in order to get ready for a potential Week One start.

You mean the Colts let go of the Hartline-Horn connection?! Pity.
they should of cut Lacey
Vaughn was done after that taunting penalty.
Can’t Polian’s kid find a JOB by himself? The kid looks somewhat like a stooge sitting next to his daddy!
Vaughn had a late hit penalty and followed that with a taunting penalty the next play which allowed the Pack to tie it.
He was yanked immediately after that taunt, so I’m not surprised.
2013 Roster Cuts: Jerry Hughes – BUST
The Colts waived but the departing players only made obscene gestures in return.
Did the Colts waive Peyton Manning by any chance, because the redskins could use him

Hartline might end up on the practice squad.
I wish he would have been given more playing time early instead of Painter. It will be interesting to see if they keep Painter or Orlovsky.
Do not cut that Evans RB…he or Carter could start next year.
Vaughn made two very stupid mistakes that cost them the game and rightfully resulted in him being cut. Most winning teams do not tolerate players that behave in this fashion. Good for the Colts!

Nice pick up…. No kidding, If you ask Chrisissy a question, he literally has to ask daddy first.
Hughes and Donald Brown are next.
@Moneymike23….Polian pride won’t allow them to cut two first rounders right now but neither Jerry Hughes or Donald Brown has done anything to prove themselves worthy of their draft position…or a roster spot. Brown is a great kid but other than having incredible balance, he is dreadful as a RB.
