Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams is expected to miss at least the first game of the regular season after suffering a dislocated elbow on Saturday night.
Although Williams said “I’ll be all right,” after suffering the injury during the first quarter of the game against the Seahawks, the Denver Post reports that Williams is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks.
That means Williams could miss both Week 1 of the regular season against the Raiders and Week 2 against the Bengals.
Williams has been the Broncos’ leading tackler the last two years.

If you don’t know who DJ Williams is, you shouldn’t be posting on this board.
One of the most underrated lbs in the league
DMac and Bush’s path to the end zone just got a whole lot easier.
Outside linebacker drafted out of Miami….Half these tools posting do not know the first thing about football. He was first rounder dummy!
My first thought DJ Williams 5th rd TE Green Bay. Wheeew . I hate injuries even when they happen to teams I hate but I hope the injury bug lands someplace besides Green Bay this year.
Denver’s losing defensive players left and right. If their HC is smart, he’ll have only bench players starting next week.
Williams is a De La Salle HS grad from the bay area, so I do wish him well on his recovery, but as a Raiders fan, I much rather have him come back after week 1.
Hey hut hut,
If you can’t tell when someone is being sarcastic , you might want to try posting on high school football talk
Those poor silly broncos
@gooboy: your sarcasm sucks
De La Salle allstar..I still remember his hit of the yr when he knocked a guys mouthpiece out.plus he was a rb..but hope he gets better.just not till week 2..d MAC is gonna have 150 yds week one & 2 tds
With those 2 DE’s (Dumervil & Miller) bulldozing their way to the QB like they are, Denver can plug a mediocre LB in DJ’s spot & manage ok for a couple weeks.. I believe they are going to be a pair of monsters if they remain healthy.
Dallas cowboy cheerleaders know a lot about “sucking”LOL
Big loss but its only a few weeks. Denver should be fine. They can plug in Mario Haggan if he is fully recovered or Wesley Woodyard is a solid backup. I was scared when I saw Bunkley go down, but it seems he is ok.
