Rams trim a pair of wideouts

Mike Sims-Walker, Joe West AP

Rams G.M. Billy Devaney told PFT Live several days ago that there hasn’t been much separation at the top of the team’s receiving depth chart.

There finally has been some at the bottom.

The Rams began to trim their roster from 89 to 80 by cutting three players, including two receivers.

Gone are receiver Joe West (pictured), receiver Jared Jenkins, and tight end Schuyler Oordt.

The Rams still have 10 receivers on the roster.

Each team must be at 80 men by 4:00 p.m. ET Tuesday.  On Saturday, teams must be down to 53 players.

There r going to be alot of players with potential hitting the market soon. it will be interesting to see who that survives the 53 cut end up being replaced bt someone from another team…… tough time to be a bubble player. Good luck to all…

Two of their receivers are former Eagles who where dumped by the Eagles (Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson). They’re both turning out to be pretty good players. Hopefully, they don’t show the Eagles that they made a mistake by letting them go.

Based on McDumbA$$ talent evaluation skills…I would watch St Louis cuts with a lot of interest. He has been known to let go of some good players!
