ESPN has jumped the shark

No kidding — it’s unbelievable how much editorial slant ESPN runs out non-stop while purporting to be simply reporting the facts.

ESPN will say QB X (who went 10-19, 117 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) put up a very impressive performance – and will focus on the 1 TD pass in the 3rd quarter.

Similarly, but conversely – ESPN will proclaim that QB Y (who went 14-21, 198 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 1 F), really “struggled” in his debut with Team Z – and will then show the one fumble and the one pick that resulted from a tipped pass.

ESPN is awful in terms of conveying the facts in neutral fashion. So agenda-driven — glad to know some out there can see straight through it.

Classic ESPN for you! I was watching this morning, trying to catch some highlights from the Denver/ Seattle game. Tebow had several decent plays, yet the ONE & only highlight that was shown was Tebow fumbling! He had a few plays of over 15 – 20 yards. Not 1 was shown.

Cowboys S Gerald Sensabaugh intercepted a pass and blocked a field goal that turned into a touchdown.

Both were awesome plays. It was a diving INT and he just leapt clean over the Vikes’ blockers and blocked that FG attempt.
