I posted about winning traditions based upon one of your ridiculous Eagle brethrens pointless views on teams that have won multiple Lombardi’s. You felt the need to stick up for those pointless views with more ridiculous Eagle babble.

The things said by Eagles fans are that we have a lot of strengths and some real excitement for the year. You repeating that we haven’t won a Super Bowl, recounting Vick’s past troubles and slamming the longest tenured coach in the NFL just makes you look like a douche.

Why not spend wisely and get some depth at key positions, e.g. Offensive Line. Not to mention the Linebacker position in Philly is, BY FAR, the weakest in the division. Really, you need Cullen Jenkins AND Babin? But you don’t have a starting Right Tackle–YOUR QB’S BLINDSIDE.

This season is setting up for a very, very disappointing 8-8 for the Philadelphia Eagles.

I love how you think you know more than the Eagles front office. The defense was horrible last year, and they did everything possible to address it. They didn’t just sign big names…they signed players that were going to help significantly and were at or near the top of the game. They needed almost everything on defense, and they got it.

As for the rest: Harrison didn’t do jack last year, and you know it. On the O-Line, they addressed the right side with Watkins.

That said, I do disagree with the Kelce thing. Jackson was great…and I was looking forward to him finally being healthy.

Umm I was talking about the weak 14 game, the one that the Eagles won by 3 points, hence the “only 3 points better than the Cowboys with Romo and Dez on the sidelines” comment.

Um, the Eagles had their 2nd and 3rd string in the entire game. Dez was on the sidelines because he got knocked out by one of our special teamers who got cut after the season.

So, yeah congrats. Can you mix some facts in with your argument?

Pretty much goes for the national media, this site and most of the readers.

Todd Herremans was drafted to be an eventual replacement for perennial All-Pro Jon Runyan, but played so well at left guard that the Eagles kept him at that position.

Winston Justice was a player they were very high on that slipped in the draft for character flags, but had a Top 15 talent grade as a left tackle.

He hasn’t worked out.

Putting Herremans at right tackle is a natural fit. Frankly as an Eagles fan, this is something that is long overdue and guards are much, much easier to find than great tackles.

The Eagles are now set at the position between Todd and Jason Peters.

Howard Mudd loves Jason Kelce. He loved a rookie named Jeff Saturday when he was in Indianapolis too and started him very early. I’m pretty sure that Saturday guy is still around and playing at a high level. Mudd consistently talks about how much Kelce reminds him of Saturday.

The Eagles aren’t going to have a “great” line to start of the season, so I guess it’s good they have the most mobile quarterback in the NFL.

I guess it’s also good they have two outstanding receivers on the outside and probably the most reliable slot receiver in the league in Jason Avant; along with a very solid TE in Brent Celek.

In other words, they’ll be fine.

As for every person that uses “Dream Team” sarcastically, you’re an idiot. Vince Young said it once and we get it … you are going to hang on it all season because you’re unoriginal and don’t have the brain capacity to come up with something funny on your own.

Not a comment, so much as a question – does anyone know what happened to Mike McGlynn? He started at C last year, can play either G spot or RT – so why is he not even mentioned in Philly’s OL discussion. Just wondering.

The trolls are so focused on the Dream Team sarcasm, they neglect to face the reality that every team has problems and questions at key positions, even the great Peckers. ( right tackle Mark Tauscher , IR_replaced with rookie Bryan Bulaga) QB Aaron rogers has a foot strain (Gee, hope it doesn’t get any worse ) If they have as many injuries as they did last year, they may not even get a sniff of the play-offs. As it was, thanks to the Detroit Lions, they backed in. Maybe they should give half of the trophy to Detroit who beat Tampa Bay.

The Pittsburgh Stinkers on the other hand lost a crucial player when back-up QB Byron Leftwich broke his arm. I’m sure there are more for issues but I’m too lazy to do the research. The point is, EVERY team has problems and questions. Don’t get smug.

It’s hard to tell what team you cheer for, because your PFT existence seems to be “create an anti-Eagles screen name and do nothing by troll Eagles stories”.

Not really. They were pretty good but they weren’t #1 in terms of yards or points scored. They gained about 9 more yards per game than the Giants and 25 more than the Cowboys, but the Cowboys were better on third down and were called for 20 fewer penalties than the Eagles.
