Sapp fidgets and grins and mugs like a spoiled, self-centered eight-year-old only child. He speaks in incoherent snippets and constantly distracts viewers from anyone else who speaks besides him. He must be destroyed(metaphorically speaking, of course).

You want a good idea for NFL programming? First, fire EVERYBODY at all three NFL broadcast channels. Take Mayock and Jaws, throw them in a room on Tuesday morning with a DVR of all the game tapes from the previous week, a box of doughnuts and a vat of Red Bull and just let them talk football until the games start Sunday afternoon. If you want variety, put Ditka, Deion and Sapp in an octogon, and tell them the last man standing gets to inteview the player of the week.

Kind of glad Eisen’s gone. He stayed within himself for a while, then the limelight got a little big & it became more about him.

The key is to find somebody who makes this more about football and the former players/coaches/executives’ analysis….and less about himself.

The move to put in the two gals is a demographic grabbing attempt that will fail. Fans don’t want to see folk who get put in because they are the “right” color, gender, or anything else except the best and most knowledgeable at what they do. In the NFL players win jobs on merit. The NFL network would do better to follow that practice. Yea I’m a guy, but my girlfriend and mom think so too!

Couldn’t agree more with the berman posts,why is espn still employing this guy?!,can’t they see he is clearly past his prime. Back! Back! Back! Ugh! I throw shoes at the tv everytime that comes up. That used to be catchy 15 years ago,now he’s doin it on outback commercials I think! Sorry berman but its over.

Berman hired Rush Limbaugh. He should be put out to pasture, along with his “dated” references. He makes ESPN football coverage, nearly unbearable. (he and Tom)

He would be a better replacement to both guys. Berman has sort of lost it and has no control over a coulple receivers on his NFL show. Eisen, still don’t get what they have seen in him at NFL unless he is a real good smoozer.

But seriously folks, I only watch that idiotic network when they show games that I prefer to see…and I will not, can not, must not ever watch anything that is hosted by that fat windbag Chris Berman.

Listening to him cover a golf telecast is the most excruciating punishment you could ever give to a human being. Thank you DirecTV for giving me alternate channels to watch during the majors BSPN covers…thank you, thank you.
