He’s small and he slow. He is a good blocker. He doesn’t strike fear in anyone as a runner or receiver any of the other backs is more of a threat to run. Large array of plays? Are you kidding me?

They haven’t played for anybody else and have made strong impressions within the Steelers organization…..and to be honest, a good impression to Mr. Rooney, (newly appointed GM) Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin is really all that matters to me.

@thefiesty1 Sweed has been gone since the first cuts..

as far as running game..i don’t see any problems there..or receiving game to be honest..very deep there…now D backs is another story..i am a bit concerned about that one..from there in will be fine..steelers D is very strong up front..

They will be good as long as they can stay healthy. This will be “the season of injuries” this year because of lack of preparation during the lockout. Redman, Moore, and Dwyer….Barring one of them being in the last 5 cuts, i’m more than happy with that depth….Time will tell on defense i think we are at least fine for another year, also in timmons woodley hood and heyward (i have faith he’ll fit in) we already have 4 out of a front 7 for the forseeable future….and the others arent done yet

How are they thin if you don’t even know who they are?

Mewelde Moore, Isaac Redman, and Jonathan Dwyer are the backups. Same 4 guys as last season.

The Steelers will start the same 11 guys on defense that took them to the Superbowl. They didn’t look too old when they shut down the Eagles first team offense two weeks ago.
