Myron Rolle wasn’t the only young Titans player with a familiar backstory that got cut on Friday.

Former USC running back Stafon Johnson, who has battled back from a life-threatening accident and a season-ending injury in 2010, was waived by Tennessee. He’ll be a candidate for the practice squad.

Also cut: T Pat McQuistan, LB Rennie Curran, DE Hall Davis, RB Herb Donaldson, TE Riar Geer, TE Cameron Graham, G Thomas Gray, DE Julian Hartsell, WR James Kirkendoll, CB Lequan Lewis, RB Kestahn Moore, WR Michael Preston, and RB Joe Tronz.

The Titans will complete their cuts on Saturday.
