17 cuts down, 10 to go for Browns

Every team needs to cut 27 players to get from the 80-man limit to the 53-man limit. The Browns have 17 cuts down and 10 to go.

The Browns have announced that they waived offensive lineman Branndon Braxton, defensive lineman Andre Carroll, receiver L.J. Castile, offensive lineman Calton Ford, defensive back Coye Francies, tight end Evan Frosch, defensive back Carl Gettis, linebacker Eric Gordon, defensive linean Travis Ivey, receiver Chris Matthews, linebacker Steve Octavien, defensive lineman Ko Quaye, defensive back Ramzee Robinson, defensive back DeAngelo Smith, linebacker Sidney Tarver and offensive lineman Phil Trautwein. They also terminated the contract of receiver Demetrius Williams.

Cleveland’s roster currently stands at 63 players.
