Niners pick up Tolzien. Who had a very impressive preseason! Another great move by the new regime.

We paid Jim Harbaugh for 5 years not 5 months. I trust and like his moves. We’re already better than the 7-9 from 2010 and we wont lose 4 games by ~3 points like last year!

I was a little surprised that Phillip Adams and Konrad Reuland were cut. I also thought theyd keep Wragge and try to put Person on the practice squad.
This isn’t by any means the final roster though. They’ll bring in a 3rd QB and also any free agent pass rusher and ILB that they think will be upgrades. I see Tukuafu, Colin Jones, and Kristick as being the guys who will be among the first to be replaced.
Look for them to replace Kristick with Tavares Gooden.

Word is the 49ers are gonna try for QB Scott Tolzen who was cut by the Chargers.

They also might make a claim on recently cut Ravens LB Tavares Gooden after they tried to work a trade with Baltimore for him.

Ronald Johnson really? Omon should get a chance else where after his strong preseason showing. Sad to see Adams go. Hopefully we can keep some of these guys on the practice squad.
