Broncos waive Perrish Cox

Perrish Cox, Harvey Steinberg AP

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is off the hook.

He doesn’t necessarily have to suspend Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox, because Cox may no longer be in the NFL.

The Denver Post reports the Broncos waived Cox, whose legal troubles are not over.  He will probably stay unsigned until and unless his court case resolves.

Denver has called a 3 p.m. ET press conference, so their cuts will be in earlier than the 6. p.m. deadline.

Cue the “welcome to Cincinnati/Oakland” jokes now…

Say what you all will about Fox but he hates turds on his team. Maybe that was only part of the reason the guy got cut, but remember he’s the only coach who voluntarily suspended his best offensive skill player for something he did to another teammate. He had a very, very a low turd ratio on his Carolina teams.

Cornerbacks of his skill level aren’t exactly rare.

I’d venture a guess that he needs to get to work on his resume. Or maybe the UFL if they actually exist for long.

Average skills with maybe a touch of above average future skill set. Possibly could of been a starter at some point or a solid backup on most any team.
Unfortunately he’s a despicable human being and probably should be in prison. Such a waste.

Well it’s hard to defend receivers when you’re in prison…

Instead of working on his resume, Parrish had better work on tightening his rectum. Because if what he is accused of doing is true, where he’s going, a lot of mean guys are going to be trying to put stuff up it.

The Broncos waived Cox. It doesn’t absolve Goodell of anything.

I agree, this turd does not deserve to play in the NFL, period! Doom and Gloom will keep the QB’s in check!!!

Honestly I don’t like the dude because he dates my ex gf but to be honest I don’t believe he raped the girl. She waited weeks to report it didn’t get a rape kit done and has a kid by him. I think she was just trying to get him to settle out of court for a lump sum of money and accused him of rape before she knew she was pregnant.
