NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is off the hook.

He doesn’t necessarily have to suspend Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox, because Cox may no longer be in the NFL.

The Denver Post reports the Broncos waived Cox, whose legal troubles are not over. He will probably stay unsigned until and unless his court case resolves.

Denver has called a 3 p.m. ET press conference, so their cuts will be in earlier than the 6. p.m. deadline.
