Lydon Murtha is the fastest OL in the NFL, he should recover quickly.

I’m honestly surprised that Pat Devlin didn’t make a squad.

  3. fiegln says: Sep 3, 2011 7:28 PM

I Really Wanted Us To Keep Larry Johnson!

  4. grigshow says: Sep 3, 2011 7:28 PM

Most shocking of all of that is Lydon Murtha going on IR. Maybe I missed something but I didn’t even know he was injured. There was serious talk that he might start at RT over Marc “Turnstile” Colombo.

Fins need to get another OT like nobody’s business.

We Should Sign To The Practice Squad:
    Phillip Livas
    Nic Grigsby
    Pat Devlin

So I guess Larry Johnson really feels like he is 20 now. Not in the NFL just like when he was 20.. Take it from a Chiefs Fan, he is nothing but trouble. Even if he was a breakout star for you guys this year, he would ask for a big contract the following year and never be seen again.

Right side of this line could be a issue now. If I had my choice I would sign o’hara move pouncey to gaurd and Carey back to right tackle. Not thrilled with Columbo.

The Cowboys should bring back Lousaka Polite.

They’ve already returned Kenyon Coleman and Abram Elam.

On a sarcastic note, Quincy Carter finally got off the couch. He and Antonio Bryant have mentioned the word ‘dream team’ in public. Eh? Eh?

  9. plundergrunge says: Sep 3, 2011 7:43 PM

    I was serious….Cowboys need Polite.

  10. grigshow says: Sep 3, 2011 7:52 PM

Polite was AMAZING for us in 2009 and terrible for us in 2010. Good luck getting the version you want.

This roster looks completely different from anything Parcells would have signed off on in 2008. You can tell the Dolphins are trying to be a playmaking team or bust this year. I hope they still use the wildcat with Bush.

will allen did everything he needed to earn a spot in that 4th game!? so who is our dimeback now ?

  13. sclazo says: Sep 3, 2011 8:22 PM

No more wildcat at all please.

  14. justentertainingthestupid says: Sep 3, 2011 8:22 PM

Still can’t believe we cut Will Allen. Stupid

  15. sclazo says: Sep 3, 2011 8:24 PM

    @ frankdatank23

    Benny Sapp and Nolan Carroll

  16. dolphins4 says: Sep 3, 2011 8:39 PM

The Dolphins should sign Mike McGlynn the center-guard-tackle the Eagles just released he’s a really good O-lineman he just didn’t fit Mudds system.

  17. jaxdolfan says: Sep 3, 2011 11:37 PM

They must be ready to roll with Lex Hilliard and Dan Thomas.

I really do think the owner is still a Jets fan.

  18. jaxdolfan says: Sep 3, 2011 11:38 PM

Oh and they kept Jason Taylor. Would have been nice to see him cut.

  19. sclazo says: Sep 4, 2011 1:05 AM

I believe the Phins are going with a more passing stlye of offense. They kept more WR’s than RB’s. Gone is the RnR express. You are going to see more 3 and 4 WR sets from this offense. Possibly even 5 wr sets.

This will all change by Tuesday and then again after week 1 when veteran salaries are no longer guaranteed.

  21. ductguy says: Sep 4, 2011 5:20 AM

Pat devlin? Way to young please bring him back to the practice squad I’m a henne fan but I like devlin and as a young QB he deserves it alot better than oconall or how ever u spell the losers name!! All in all go phins “puke on jets”

  22. lostsok says: Sep 4, 2011 4:43 PM

    Devlin made the PS.

  23. dolphincritic says: Sep 7, 2011 8:07 AM

I didn’t see enough of Devlin to really have an opinion! We have already made a good acquisition from the Patriots. We needed another TE. We are thin at RB too!
