John Parker Wilson among Falcons final cuts

After starting their roster cuts en masse on Friday, the Falcons finished the job Saturday afternoon.

There were no shockers on the list, although it’s interesting the team cut quarterback John Parker Wilson.   Atlanta is now only carrying two quarterbacks.

Also cut: center Brett Romberg, safety Rafael Bush, wide receiver Kevin Cone, wide receiver Drew Davis, guard Andrew Jackson, LB Robert James, defense end Emmanuel Stephens, and tackle Jose Valdez.

The team also reached an injury settlement with tight end Ryan Winterswyk.

Probably should have kept him for depth. Hm…

Sorry to hear that. Nice guy. Hope he gets picked up by someone else. Good luck, John Parker!!

Just because they have only 2 QB’s today, does not mean they only have 2 QB’s tomorrow.

If you are starting your third string QB your season is shot. A loss with your #3 QB counts the same as a loss with the QB you picked up 5 days before kickoff when your #1 and #2 got hurt.

Trust the Dimitroff/Smith regime. They’ve shown they know what they’re doing in 3 short years.

It was good enough for the Seahawks to kick your sorry team out of the playoffs.

Sorry to break the news to you but since 2008 we haven’t nor will we have a bad season, even with Ryan injured. Saints would never win a game if Brees went down.

So with all due respect to you ‘Aints fans but get the hell off our board already.
