I feel pretty good about the team, but would feel a lot better if someone else accidentally cast off a fantastic unsung corner we could pick up at the last minute.

Sad to hear that #22 made the roster. Worst corner in the NFL.

thought that read “defensive lineman javaris crittenton” at first.

So this means Jonathon Dwyer made the team or did I miss something? Shocked about that. Suprised about Crezdon Butler because I was starting to hear good things about him.

    ???

Gay was fairly decent last year outside of one bad game. They can’t shut down everyone completely.

Should have cut Gay and kept Butler. Gay is poor with no upside.

#22 can’t be the worst in the NFL….if he was he would be a Bengal (but he is pretty bad)

Chris Scott over Hills is kind of foolish. Hills is more of a finesse guy who looked decent at tackle no worse than the guys they have. In hindsight seeing him at guard should have been a clue he’d get cut. He may end up starting elsewhere like Urbik.

C’mon Steelers fans, we all know that Gay is a bum and Butler got some good upside. Because of the shortened offseason, the Steelers needed familiarity on Offense and D’fense. Butler will be signed to the practice squad where he can learn – expect to see him by week 5 and kiss Gay good-bye!

Allprofantasy that may be wishful thinking. The one flaw that the Steeler’s organization has is that it puts too much emphasis on experience. That is why they keep guys like Gay, Moore, Tyrone Carter and too a lesser extent Ryan Clark instead of trying to develop young guys.

Marcus Gilbert looked so good in limited action I am almost routing for a minor injury to Jonathan Scott just to give him a chance. I really like Scott at RT, but at LT he is only average.

Actually, I was hoping 7 didn’t make the roster.

Guilty men go free when off-duty cops are corrupt and on-duty cops are incompetent.

butler signed with arizona. he wasnt even good on special teams. gay is ok at best but still way better than butler.
