APCurrently, three Gronkowski brothers play for NFL teams. On Saturday, two of them, at least temporarily, won’t be.
Per a league source, running back Chris Gronkowski (pictured) of the Cowboys and tight end Dan Gronkowski of the Broncos will be released today.
Those moves will leave, for now, only Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski on an NFL roster.
And Rob is surely safe — he scored 10 touchdowns as a rookie in 2010.
Both Chris and Dan Gronkowski will be subject to waivers, since they have fewer than four NFL seasons.

WOW!!!
Hope those two get picked up. It’s pretty neat to have 3 brothers in the NFL no matter how good they are.
Their dad must have a huge ego. 3 kids in the NFL.
LOL can’t even make a team! losers…
had no idea they were all brothers! That’s insane!
Poppa Gronkowski must be one proud man.
Not one, not two, but three of his boys end up in the NFL, wow! I know I will be proud if my three boys make it there. Mr, Gronkowski must have some strong genes!
Chris will surely get another chance after he clears waivers.
Thanks for scaring the crap out of me fantasy wise. Not that it would make sense to cut Rob, but still.
an insane family father was a football player 3 sons in the nfl a son in the mlb and a son in college footbal
another amazing pick up in denver by McDaniels
@steelernationlolzatyouremptytrophycase6
I’d like to see you try.
@ndgarretjax
Don’t even bother, that moron steelernationlolzatyouremptytrophycase6. He has been under different names and trolls here just spouts off his mouth and orgasms in his mothers basement about the steelers. They made a movie about him called “Giant Fan” Was based on his life.
( as info; it really is a good movie)
Dad owns a local fitness store so no doubt the kids are gym rats from the womb. Here’s to hoping Buffalo signs the TE. GRONKNATION!!!!
Edit: Movie is Big Fan starring Patton Oswald, Spence from “King Of Queens”
It’s misleading to call Chris a running back. He is a fullback.
“Not the baby! Not the baby!”, Mrs. Gronkowski pleaded with The Turk.
What a great family. I would expect one if not both to be picked up. Rob G. the TE the Pats have is excellent. I think he could become a perennial pro-bowler. Seems to be able to do it all and do it all well at the TE position. I’d like to see a documentary on the family.

=============
It’s misleading to say a fullback is not a running back. A fullback is a type of running back, just like a halfback.
giants can take them.
Maybe Chris can forget to block again and get another QB killed for the season (Romo)
