Arizona picked up a veteran option to backup Beanie Wells.

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Chester Taylor has agreed to terms with Arizona. We’ve seen the report confirmed in multiple places.

It’s a curious move by Arizona. Taylor looked to be at the end of the line in Chicago last year, and he couldn’t make the team this year. There are a lot of young running backs out there, but Arizona decided to go with a veteran that will be good in pass protection if nothing else.
