The man who died at the home of Texans defensive end Antonio Smith has been identified as a 37-year-old friend of Smith’s family.
Fort Bend County sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel told the Associated Press that the death is believed to be a drowning, and foul play is not suspected.
The death was reported at about 9:30 a.m. today. Smith had hosted a birthday party in his home on Saturday night.

Very sad. . . Hate to see someone lose their life at an early age.
So very sad. This happens a lot more than people think. Prayers out to his family and friends.
That super sucks…. Damn…
That’s why I never get drunk and go swimming.
I’m sure his family will be well taken care of, but that still wont fix their loss.
Very sad. Prayers to all involved.
What’s with the thumbs down on the rip comments? A man lost his life. maybe you cavemen could show a little class for five seconds? Go ahead tough guys, give this the thumbs down too….but before you do, think about if this was your friend, or son, brother, or father who died.
37 yrs old and he drowns…something doesn’t sound right..very sad to see this happen may he RIP
This is terrible. You are in our prayers ninja dude.

i see all these positive comments and 4 – 5 thumbs down on them and i wonder what kind of soul less douche bag would thumbs down a RIP comment.
With all due respect to the victim, how are you going to be a 37 year old guy and drown in a pool amongst fellow guests? No seriously…..how??
