Getty ImagesIf you haven’t received an invitation to join the PFT Challenge fantasy league at NFL.com, there’s a reason for that.
No one has.
We’ve loaded up six spots in the 12-team league with all PFT writers and PFT Live producer Matt Casey, which will be powered by NFL.com. The invitations for the other six spots will go out very soon, with an automatic draft being conducted Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m. ET.
Just in time for Thursday night’s opener between the Saints and the Packers.
If you don’t get into our league, you can start your own league — or join another league — at NFL.com.

I’m expecting an invite because this was my idea after all. However what’s with the autodraft? Wouldn’t a live draft online be more challenging/interesting?
Can I join? I’m super awesome. Way cooler than Rosenthal at the very least. I can even spell and proofread. If I can’t join the league, I should at least be guaranteed his spot writing for PFT. Gotta at least give somebody from the military something, right??
Well good sirs I believe I would make the ideal member of your fantasy league. As a very classy man I believe my being there would help class the whole league up. Also when I eventually win which would of course be bound to happen I would be the most classy man in victory. I have participated in fantasy leagues for the last three years and I win fairly often. I truly hope you all consider me for this position and if you all choose me I can assure you all will be deeply challenged in the most classy way possible. Thank you very much and have a pleasant day gentleman.
I’m hoping to receive my invite soon
Again, I’m a Bills fan. Please God let me make it in this league so I at least have SOMETHING to cheer for!
Geez, I’m so glad I didn’t throw my laptop out the window when I didn’t get an invite. There is still hope!
Is this another test to respond see I stay on PFT!!!
Still patiently awaiting the invite. Once again, pre ranked players locked, loaded and ready to go! Can’t wait to be part of http://www.nfl.com/fantasy!
I find this shallow and pedantic.
Live draft, auction draft… I need an autodraft.
I should be invited to play because I am a great fantasy football owner. I am a diehard WHO DAT and because like the Saints I will win it all.
If you select me you will surely be in the running for the Ed Block Courage Award.
Don’t invite me…..
My comments have reflected a comprehensive knowedge about the game, the rules and the business of football. Select me unless you are too worried I will crush my competition….
I should get in solely for the amount of times of times I refresh pft per day whether at law school or at work!
I told my wife she “crushed my dreams” because I did not have internet connection on Monday and could not respond to the last post because it was past 6:00 EST by the time I saw it (though I did respond to the first.) Please choose me for your league so I can forgive her
Once again, I would be honored to join. It’s funny, Mike, I asked how I could make an attempt at getting involved in the industry last time and the answer was slapping me in the face, but I didn’t feel it. I had to register to comment and thus signed up for a blog in the process. So I will start a blog as soon as I get around to it and maybe I can get your professional feedback (even if I don’t get selected)?
In the meantime, I’m still too busy preparing for fantasy football and would love to put my draft tool against the best in the business (clearly, that means all of you except Rosy). At the very least, it would be interesting to document the season. At best, it could turn out to be the Big Blue of the fantasy world
I have to say that I have seen some other sites that come out with news before PFT, but they will print anything. PFT has been my source for reliable news and who doesn’t prefer quality over quantity? Much RESPECT my friends!
The only drawback about getting selected would be that I’d have to let everyone know how awesome PFT is on my blog and thus my friends will discover one of the weapons in my tool belt. It would undoubtedly be worth it.
Please keep my dream alive
-Ed
Pick me because I smash through brick walls to save small animals from fires. And I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

I think you dropped your monocle on that post
If not selected after all the times I’ve tried to fix typos, errors, or rosenthals sentence structure and general writing I will be saddened; but Paul Allen would be pretty funny to have in your league and gives you something to talk about when you call in to the show.
I am awaiting for my invite so that I can reveal to you who this years bust will be.
I would love to join and show you that us Europeans can kick some butt!
I’d like an invite… I’ve got years worth of lewd team names and wild strategies under my belt. Last year I made the playoffs with a team that all had the same bye week…
Oh wait, autodraft… gross, but I’ll give it a shot, for the love of the game (and so I can say, “I beat the smart kids!”)
Yeah I would like an invite also. How do I get an invite.
This dependable, mature, fantasy football coach (with years of experience) is still available Mike. Hope to hear from you guys!
if i get it cool, if not, oh well.
Hey MJD hahahahahahahahahha
I’ve only been a member of the site for the last 3 or 4 minutes (the same amount of time it took me to read this article and register to the website) but its been my best 3 or 4 minutes of my life. Sign me up…… and I’m not classy. I’m competitive.
I’m down, since I’m actually available at that time.
I’m from Australia. I’m a Bills fan. So I’ve already lost! I read the site all the time. I love Fantasy Football. Download the podcast everyday. 6am eastern is 8pm Thursday Sydney time…perfect timing..primetime Fantasy Football! Its the only primetime any one of my teams will get this year.
Beware the Auto Draft some one in our league who had to work during the draft autopicked up Peyton with the 6th pick and never got auto drafted a back up QB. Sucks to be him. 16 team league not much left for him to choose
After 40+ years as a Vikings fan, it would be nice to finally win something……
I would love to be in! Due to my job I wasn’t able to get in with my usual fantasy leagues, so I might as submit a request here as my last shot for fantasy football this year. I am at work by 5:30 am et so I will have no problem having my players pre-ranked and eager to see my team if selected. Thanks for the opportunity to request an invite.
I hope I am selected.
Reasons I won’t be selected for this league.
1) I made a list of why I won’t be selected.
I’m not as creative as I first thought, and have run out of reasons why I won’t be selected.
2) If I am not invited, one of you will win.
3) My screen name speaks for itself.
4) I have retired from fantasy football.
5) Go Bears.
6) I have a zero tolerance policy of drafting Green Bay Packers.
7) I have posted too late, and you’re tired of reading these posts.
Sad but true.
30 FF leagues plus…..never worse than a 2nd….I will beat you with myin’ and I will beat you with yourin’!
Bring it!!!
With the recent passing of a childhood idol in Lee Roy Selmon and still holding the record of 26 straight losses( which will never be broken), an uplifting experience would be rather welcomed….If I get selected I promise not to select Jeff Garcia or David Boston in the first round.
PFT PLANET,
May I please join your Fantasy League?
I have Skype – Internet Access at home – Internet Access and Available Time at work –
And I love football.
Please consider me, for one of your precious league spots.
Thank You,
