Arian Foster headed towards game time decision

The Colts lost their best player for the next couple of months.

The Texans may lose one of their best players for the opening week.  Houston definitely wins on that trade.

Running back Arian Foster missed practice again on Thursday.  Coach Gary Kubiak said Foster may be headed to a game-time decision, but the signs don’t look great.  Why rush him back when he hasn’t practiced at all since hurting his hamstring?

“Everything’s still progressing,” said Kubiak, “but obviously we’re getting close to game time. We’ll see where he’s at tomorrow.”

Derrick Ward is expected to start if Foster is out, with Ben Tate getting plenty of work. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the Texans try to run the ball 40 times even if Foster is out.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter suggested Thursday Foster could play, but not in a full-time role.

He’s out. No reason to risk it with Tate, and a defense that would give even myself a 100 yard game.

Damnit, I warned him about the dangers of frolicking too much.

If have to listen to that stupid Verizon commercial one more time during the Saints -Packers game I may scream. And ya, I know I’ve got a mute button but it may burn an image into my plasma.

Hey, at least he doesn’t have to have his cervix fused like Manning.

Sure a hurt hamstring sucks – but it’s a major tragedy that Peyton can no longer have any babies.

    Is that a mechanical Hippo?

He should sit, there’s no reason for him to rush back given the circumstances and seeing who will be backing him up.

Who in the hell would ride a toy hippo, much less let someone take your picture if you were riding a toy hippo? Did he tweet this photo too? Arian, you need to go shopping with Dez and act like a normal NFL prima donna. This is way too confusing for us.
