For the first time, an NFL player who was born in the 1990s has taken the field in a regular-season game.

Randall Cobb, a rookie receiver for the Packers who was born on August 22, 1990, returned the opening kickoff and in the process became the first player born in the ‘90s to step on the field in the NFL.

Among the things that happened before Cobb was born: The Berlin Wall was torn down, Ghost was released in theaters and MTV’s Unplugged premiered.

Those of us who were watching football for many years before 1990 are feeling little old right now.
