APWe noted yesterday that Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas can’t be counted on for a while. It turns out that it’s more than just his Achilles tendon bothering him.
The Denver Post reports that Thomas, the Broncos’ first-round draft pick in 2010, also has a broken finger on his left hand.
Thomas returned to practice on Monday after missing all of training camp and the preseason with the Achilles injury, but he made it through less than a week when a ball hit him wrong and broke his finger.
The finger injury isn’t expected to sideline him for long, but it adds to a growing list of concerns about Thomas, who suffered a broken bone in his foot before last year’s draft and also missed five games last season with an ankle injury. The guy just can’t stay healthy.

Well, you gotta assume now, that McDaniels was sent in as a plant by another team just to ruin the Broncos…
They dude in Kansas, Pioli, was with the Patriots a long time, same as McDaniels…
Just kidding, but when you look at the decisions by McDaniels, this doesn’t seem too absurd…
Im glad Dallas grabbed Dez rather than this Bust!!!
Demolished Thomas.
And with Dez Bryant still on the board the Denver Broncos select…

Duh, Dallas had no shot at Thomas. he was gone when Dallas picked
Definitely looking like a bust but I will give him until the end of 2012 prove me wrong. McDaniels was the biggest Broncos bust of them all. Thanks for the great memories Josh!
