APAfter Sunday’s thrashing of the Colts, the Texans’ enthusiasm was tempered by an injury to receiver Kevin Walter. Multiple reports (from PFT and from Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network) indicated a preliminary diagnosis of a broken shoulder, with an expected absence of 10 to 12 weeks.
That was, without question, the unmistakable word in the locker room. But it ultimately was incorrect, and we apologize for that.
After further review, including a Monday afternoon MRI, Texans doctors concluded that Walter has a “badly bruised collarbone,” according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
It’s unknown whether Walter will play this weekend, or when he’ll return. Jacoby Jones is expected to start across from Andre Johnson, if Walter can’t play when the Texans go to Miami on Sunday.

Thanks a lot Mike, I dropped him from my fantasy ftball or ready.
Is it possible to bruise any bone?
Texan’s D is more suspect than the Patriots… so I wouldn’t be suprised if the dolphins went toe to toe in a shoot out with the Texans.
