It was an old woman who every game buys the cheapest jersey she can find of the team the Jags are playing.

She shreds the jersey and puts it on a skeleton EVERY single game. She had no idea the jersey she bought was someone who has died.

The Steve McNair who was the greatest Oilers/Titans qb in history and has yet had any honor whatsoever or had his number retired

Next time you’re in Nashville I’d be happy to point out where his name is in the Oilers/Titans Ring of Honor, which is a pretty select group. Apparently you’re only three years late in getting the news he was inducted. (It was NOT a posthumous honor.)

Officially retired numbers are hard to come by (only six in franchise history) and are basically all Hall of Famers… but I’ve never seen #9 assigned to anyone since McNair left.

McNair maintained a great relationship with this city and team even after he went to the Ravens (for a pretty big signing bonus on a multiyear deal, vs. the 1-yr offer the Titans could afford) and his kids remained fixtures around the team even after he died.

He — and his family — deserve more respect than that classless fan showed.
