On Tuesday, veteran tight end Donald Lee got a tryout in Cincinnati.

The Bengals apparently liked what they saw. The team announced Wednesday morning that Lee has joined the team.

Lee, who spent 2003 and 2004 with the Dolphins and 2005 through 2010 with the Packers, signed with the Eagles in July. He was cut on September 3.

To create a roster spot for Lee, the Bengals cut defensive back Rico Murray.
