Aqib Talib was nominated for POW on defense in the NFC? For what? He made one play…ONE, that whole game. He was abused by Calvin Johnson for 59 minutes, 54 seconds of a 60 minute game…..and he gets a nomination? What a freakin’ joke!

Brees and Rodgers both had great games but if you watched the game it was pretty clear Rodgers had the much better game. He was consistent throughout the game while Brees failed to keep drives going on numerous occasions.

About Randall Cobb. He only made 1 great play on ST. His other TD was during the offensive domination. Ginn had his 2 big plays on ST. Therefore, you can’t make an argument for Cobb as ST player of the week.

Rodgers converted a ton of 3rd downs, Brees couldn’t get it done on 4th & 1, Goalline, 3rd & 1s, etc.

Reason Brees had so much yards was cause the Saints were playing Catch up throughout the whole game…

It’s like saying Schaub or Rivers should be MVPs “cuz look at their yardz man!” even thou’ brady will put up more TDs and actually win some games.

Brees had more yards but not nearly as accurate or efficient. Rodgers made it happen and the Pack won.

Brees will have his moments but not as many os Rodgers, hes climbing to fast to the top of the QB rankings…

Brees, while outstanding, did not have a better day than Rodgers. Both his completion percentage and his qb rating were lower. In addition, the Saints lost.

Brees had more passing yards, but Rodgers had a 77.1 completion % compared to 65.3 ……that’s unreal.

Didn’t rodgers beat brees? If the packers kept their foot on the saints throat, he would have had a Brady day. Rodgers had 200 plus yards and 3 touchdowns half way through the 2nd quarter.
