This right here is why I respect.Brady but will never, ever respect the Pats. Most of those trophies in their case is due to cheating. Everyone cheats but don’t get caught and when you do get caught and you’re lucky enough to keep those tributes don’t act like a douche because you have those rings/trophies.

Signed a Falcon fan since 1994 (que the you’ve never had a ring hate)

I think Tedi and Rodney are both taking Ocho's comments out of context. Sure he needs to make plays and expect this offense to produce big numbers, but Tom Brady (as good as he is and as great as the Patriots offense has been in the past) has never come clsoe to passing for these numbers before. Actually before the Dolphins game, Tom's biggest passing day was 380 yards (of course he did that in one half and one drive before being pulled).

Ocho was in awe. He'd never seen Brady do anything like that before...neither have Bruschi and Harrison (nor anyone else). Take a pill jerkoffs. I know its your job to stir the pot, but being ridiculous is not in your job description.

Come on, people. This is so freakin obvious.

Bruschi was looking for any reason to get on Ochocinco. But Ochocinco flipped the script. Instead of doing something to set himself apart from the team, Ochocinco went out of his way to praise the Patriots.

But Bruschi and Harrison—both meatheads, have to jump on him anyway. Its only because they were planning to criticize him all along.

So stupid and contrived. Doesn’t anyone see that?

chad's never done performance enhancers. Chad's never been suspended for doing performance enhancers.

Rodney Harrison, suspended for using performance enhancers how many times? how many games? noted on the dirtiest player list, voted on by players, for how many years?

harrison should probably shut up when it comes to anyone else in football. he's got too much of his own baggage to point fingers.

Exactly, he’s used to talking about himself, due to his insecurity.

That penalty was as dumb a penalty as you’ll ever see and there’s absolutely no excuse for it.

He won’t last with the Pats.
========================
Why'd the hell they sign him then?
wouldnt ex-Pats know that when they bring this up it's a distraction in and of itself?

Is this is what former Belichick players do?

Ocho comes from the Bengals – a screwed up, joke around, loser franchise like the Jets or Lions. He needs time to adjust. When you come from a crappy organization like those three you don’t know any better.
=========================
Yeah, the Jets smashed you, and the Lions probably wouldve too if that was a regular season game. We know the formula, whoop Tom Brady's a#%, drop back 6 DB's in Zone and confuse him as Rex Ryan did masterfully.

Been a drought in the playoffs since Spygate, hasnt it?

“And when you look at Chad Ochocinco’s stats, one catch for 14 yards, that’s unacceptable. And when they were doing all these productive plays, you were on the bench."

You know what was unacceptable? Harrison not knocking the ball out of Tyree's hand and helmet in the Super Bowl. How about pulling his arm away?

So Ochocinco compliments his team and gives a clear indication he won’t be a malcontent (as in, not complaining he wasn’t a bigger part of it) and he gets ripped by two former players?

Bruschi is just trying to be a hard arse, pretending he can still play the game. The same goes for Harrison. This isn’t the first time, or the last, these two have spouted off like this.

Good players, not so much as analysts

First, although I understand Bruschi's comment, I don't think it is something to get so bent out of shape over. When compared to the Bengals' system the Patriots system IS probably awesome.
Also, how many times did they actually throw the ball to Ochocinco? Once? I didn't watch the game. If he caught it once and it was thrown to him once, you can't blame him for the coaches not calling his number more. I think Chad is still getting used to the offense that the other players are already used to.

I thought Ocho gave that press conference where he said he was going to be a quiet team guy was a little off. Hard to keep him from sayin' something.I thought those 2 old dogs over-reacted though. But he should remember even a little innocent tweet can cause a storm of criticism. Bet he wishes he was actually PART of that 500+yards of offense.

I am still trying to figure out how complimenting your QB's incredible performance could evoke such a response from a guy with no neck.

If the Pats organization becomes frustrated because this has become a distraction, they can blame none other than Tedi Douchy. He made this a story, and one of the dirtiest players in NFL extended it. This was a non-story. This is the dumbest controversy in NFL history.

Saw a lot of games this week, and you can tell the players had an abbreviated preseason. Many blown routes, not a lot of communication between QBs and their newer receivers.Lets see how the next few weeks play out before we crucify someone learning a new system.
And Mistress Rachael, your post was borderline obscene. Sounds like a Jets fan/player really did you wrong. I hope you are able to get past it and be happy again.

I have been following PFT for a couple years now. I had to finally make an account because of this. Ocho might be a little crazy at times. But what did he do wrong? How is saying he is in awe of his QB even remotely something that these 2 dbags can take as something bad. No he wasn't involved in offense. He didn't get a ton of chances either. WTF does that have to do with his tweets. Either I'm confused or this is just a bunch of BS. We should have never even heard about this story.

Harrison and TB are right. If “Chad doesn’t like it he can quit. Go sign with some other team that allows a “me first attitude.” You’re not in Cincinnatti now. I believe he has three weeks to turn it around or he’s gone. And he will be missed just as much as Moss was.

How is what he said "me first attitude"? I think some people just don't like people who wouldn't act exactly the way they would. PS. Im a browns fan. No interest in patriots or Ocho. This is just nuts.

Ocho comes from the Bengals – a screwed up, joke around, loser franchise like the Jets or Lions. He needs time to adjust. When you come from a crappy organization like those three you don’t know any better.

IDIOT!!!
So when NE went looking for a HC they shopped a crappy organization and never looked back?

Don't blame Ted and Rod. They're victims of BB early days of brainwashing and may have been in the rinse cycle too long.
