Ever wonder why lame Pats fans always break out the “this century” argument?

It’s because prior to Spygate (circa 2001), their team SUCKED. Same for their local baseball team. They so want to whitewash that sordid history that they pretend that the world was created at the turn of the century instead of facing the fact that no matter what happens, they have never been good losers, nor will they ever be good winners. Win or lose, the fans in New England will ALWAYS SUCK.

The Patriots won the AFC in ’85 and went to a Super Bowl.

New England in the ’90s under Parcells were a very talented team that went to another Super Bowl in ’96.

The Jets in the 90′s were in their third decade of sucking.

The Patriots of the past ten years have been a team for the ages, playing in four – count ‘em, FOUR – Super Bowls, winning three. That’s four decades of solid performance, Chuckles.

The Jets, in their fourth straight decade of continuing their tradition of suckiness, have still not even BEEN to – let alone won – a Super Bowl in forty two years.

Want to tell us again how “great” YOUR team has been the past forty years, nimrod?
__
NOT a Jets fan, poormoron2256, so why would I care about your shots at the Jets, which are nothing more than a weak shot at the better of the two cities that the two teams represent, the better city being New York. Boston is second rate and will always be second to NYC, no matter how much you Boston losers whine about it.

Part 1 was fantastic, and looking forward to Part 2.

As long as in has been in the League, it seems like we really didn't know much about him. It surprises me that he agreed to do this.

I love how they showed the interaction with his son, him reminiscing about Giants Stadium and just to make sure we didn't forget there was another to the man -the look of disdain on his face as he ate rigatoni during the media call.

Belichick is a great coach and a fascinating man.

Great job by the NFL Network.

When you come on to do your spew, please have the guts to mention what team you root for. I must compliment the jets fans – at least most of them have the guts to say that they are jets fans. The rest of you just spew and run, and we Pats fans can’t begin to tell you how upset that makes us.

Are we arrogant? You betcha.

Are we obnoxious? You betcha.

1hysterectomypatient,

No one here really "hates" the Pats, so get over that.

What fans of other teams dislike is the false arrogance of a fan base who does NOTHING to affect the outcome of a single game, yet pretends that the accomplishments of mercenary players originally from practically everywhere else BUT New England somehow reflect positively on the merits of your small-minded region.

Being obnoxious and arrogant about events that you collectively have had NO EFFECT upon is not only ignorant but just plain stupid. Go on deluding yourself though, since it likely redirects your disappointment that stems from the rest of your pathetic life. Enjoy that worthless history degree of yours though.

I can't wait to see the show, and I am a Patriot's fan - I love quality football, and any show that might help me relive my highs school days. But I doubt this show will convince anyone with an opinion on Belichick to change their mind.

I'm not defending bozo here, but maybe you are misunderstanding the word "prior" in his post. I read his statement to be that Pats fans, in general, ignore the fact that the Pats sucked for a good 20+ years prior to 2001 and that since that time (like Sox fans post 2004) Pats fans are as obnoxious in victory as they were in defeat previously.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with him...just poiting out that 18-1 in 2007 is POST 2001...thus confirming his point. He didn't say the Pats sucked post 2001, he said the Pats FANS sucked post 2001.

Was there ever a possibility of the fins winning anything? Ever? In this century?

Don’t they throw a parade if the fins win 10 games?

Do fin fans even bother attending games?

__
Ever wonder why lame Pats fans always break out the "this century" argument?

It's because prior to Spygate (circa 2001), their team SUCKED. Same for their local baseball team. They so want to whitewash that sordid history that they pretend that the world was created at the turn of the century instead of facing the fact that no matter what happens, they have never been good losers, nor will they ever be good winners. Win or lose, the fans in New England will ALWAYS SUCK.

Wait…so you love fake football (fantasy) and think there’s running up the score in pro football and it’s “horrible”??? I think you’d be happier watching high school football. Or maybe pee wee league. No pro football team needs any sort of EXCUSE to leave their starters in on offense or defense and play football.
Sheesh.

==================
Dont worry supersouthern, Ravens and Jets figured out how to stop people running up the score. kick the sh%t out of Tom Brady...he'll get real indecisive with the ball then. As always, DEFENSE beats them, that's why they havent advanced.

Sounds like the perfect description of a Red Sox fan (as they whine about how the Yankees have pretty much owned them for the vast majority of MLB history).

@PackmanFan: It's actually more likely they're simply trying to advertise for the NFL network, which has abysmal viewership at the moment. The quicker they can get the majority of football fans subscribed to that Network, the quicker they can stop utilizing ESPN, local channels etc... That way, they get all the revenue.

Seems pretty obvious what they're doing, actually.

Gee, you'd think it was the second coming of Christ or something the way they are going on and on about this non-issue.
