NOT a Jets fan, poormoron2256, so why would I care about your shots at the Jets, which are nothing more than a weak shot at the better of the two cities that the two teams represent, the better city being New York. Boston is second rate and will always be second to NYC, no matter how much you Boston losers whine about it.

As long as in has been in the League, it seems like we really didn’t know much about him. It surprises me that he agreed to do this.

I love how they showed the interaction with his son, him reminiscing about Giants Stadium and just to make sure we didn’t forget there was another to the man -the look of disdain on his face as he ate rigatoni during the media call.

Belichick is a great coach and a fascinating man.

When you come on to do your spew, please have the guts to mention what team you root for. I must compliment the jets fans – at least most of them have the guts to say that they are jets fans. The rest of you just spew and run, and we Pats fans can’t begin to tell you how upset that makes us.

No one here really “hates” the Pats, so get over that.

What fans of other teams dislike is the false arrogance of a fan base who does NOTHING to affect the outcome of a single game, yet pretends that the accomplishments of mercenary players originally from practically everywhere else BUT New England somehow reflect positively on the merits of your small-minded region.

Being obnoxious and arrogant about events that you collectively have had NO EFFECT upon is not only ignorant but just plain stupid. Do your job, celebrate doing it well, celebrate those who do theirs well, and take responsibility when none of the above happens.

I can’t wait to see the show, and I am a Patriot’s fan – I love quality football, and any show that might help me relive my highs school days. But I doubt this show will convince anyone with an opinion on Belichick to change their mind.

I’m not defending bozo here, but maybe you are misunderstanding the word “prior” in his post. I read his statement to be that Pats fans, in general, ignore the fact that the Pats sucked for a good 20+ years prior to 2001 and that since that time (like Sox fans post 2004) Pats fans are as obnoxious in victory as they were in defeat previously.

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with him…just poiting out that 18-1 in 2007 is POST 2001…thus confirming his point. He didn’t say the Pats sucked post 2001, he said the Pats FANS sucked post 2001.
