On tonight’s debut episode of NFL Turning Point (VERSUS, 10:00 p.m. ET), a joint venture of NFL Films and NBC Sports, clips from Sunday night’s Cowboys-Jets game will be shown, including portions with New York cornerback Darrelle Revis wearing a microphone.

Revis battled Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant all night, with Bryant winning some battles -- but Revis ultimately winning the war with a late interception that set the stage for the game-winning field goal.

“Pretty cool,” Revis said Wednesday, per the Associated Press. “I’ll tell you, though, there was some crazy stuff on that mic, man. It’s the heat of the battle. He said words to me, and I’m saying words back to Dez.”

So what was said?

“It’s X-rated,” Revis said. “There was a lot of stuff going on, a lot of back and forth.”

(Maybe R-rated would be a better description. Not that there’s anything wrong with an X-rated discussion between two consenting adults of the same gender.)

“That’s real life,” Revis said. “Whatever was said on there, that’s what it was. It’s in the heat of the moment, the heat of battle. That’s what it was.”

The “what it was” that didn’t land on the cutting room floor will be included in the show. Tune in at 10:00 p.m. ET to find out “what it was” that made it.
