As the Rams prepare to face the Giants in a game which may have more injured players than points scored, the Rams have given their fans some good news.

First, St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford officially is listed as probable with a finger injury that created significant consternation last Sunday, with concerns regarding possible nerve damae.

Second, Rams running back Steven Jackson has yet to be scratched. He’s technically questionable with a strained quad, despite not practicing all week. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said that Jackson’s availability will be determined at game time.

“[I]t’s going to be one of those . . . I’ll visit with him tomorrow and see where we’re at and maybe we’ll take this thing, obviously right up until game day with the extra day and being a night game,” Spagnuolo said Saturday. “Probably work him out on game day and see where we’re going.”

In other words, the Rams want to make the Giants think Jackson could play for as long as possible.

Also for the Rams, tackle Jason Smith is probable with an ankle injury, along with linebacker Josh Hull (hamstring) and cornerback Bradley Fletcher (toe). Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui is questionable with a calf injury. Receiver Danny Amendola (elbow) is doubtful, and defensive end C.J. Ah You (wrist) is out.

For the Giants, receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee) and defensive lineman Justin Tuck (neck) are questionable. Both practiced on a limited basis on Saturday.
