He only does it when he throws touchdowns…get used to it. You’ll see it plenty in week 13 in your own backyard. He threw one on the first drive today. That alone was enough to beat the Jags, our first round draft picks sack/safety sealed the deal.

Not the worst team…can’t really say that after 2 games, but I will say the Jags have THE worst coach. There is talent on the team, just bad, bad coaching and play calling.

True. However, he’s the cornerstone of the Jets defense and indespensible in how they scheme against teams. It’s also (severely) a passing dominant league, which makes an elite DB all the more valuable.

I hope teams are dumb enough to keep calling the jets out before games. That was a beatdown today and to me the mvp of the game was Cromartie. He almost ran back a kr and had the two picks and ran one of them back to the one yd line. They still need to clean some things up but hey 2-0. I just love the thought on how much that must piss off all the jets haters. Oakland your up next 3-0 next week.

The score is not indicative of the way the game actually went. McCown’s 4 picks set the Jets up quite nicely. The Jags d-line did a very good job, but the defense in general got gassed towards the end of the game since they were on the field so much.

Jets will have trouble with stronger 4 man fronts, especially if Mangold is out for awhile

As for the Jags, I shudder to think how bad Garrard must have looked in practice if they thought McCown was better. (Side note, Garrard threw 4 picks in week 2 last year)
