Right on. He absolutely twisted his ankle intentionally on the first tackle. I was surprised the announcers didn't say anything. Reminded me of Dwayne Wade doing the wrestling number on Rondo's elbow a few months ago. (shudder)

I'm so glad Brady got up from the second hit, the knee-angle looked exactly like it did when he blew it out in '08. I was having a frickin' heart attack when I saw that, clearly more upset than Brady. Who, it should be noted, hater-morons, got up, did not complain, kept the hurry-up going, and led them down the field. Unbelievable.

Alot of bad calls against both teams in this game, the roughing the passer on rivers by andre carter and the holding by cason on welker, and also the uneccesary roughness by weddle on gronkowski

----------------------------

I agree with the sentiment. These refs were too happy to throw their flags whenever there was a big play. As for Rivers...yeah, bogus call. If you don't want people to have their helmet make contact ANYWHERE on the opposing player, don't have players wear them or give QBs two flags that defenders must pull off before the ball is thrown or handed off. Bad sissy call...

Holding on Cason was ticky-tack. Either way, it didn't effect the play...yet they threw the flag.

Weddle was rightfully hit with the penalty. He went facemask TO facemask.

There was a bogus PI penalty by Sergio Brown on Gates...both guys had their eyes on the ball and both their arms locked up as they jumped for the ball. It was good clean contact with both guys trying to make a play. That was NOT pass interference.

Refs missed a lot of SD's WR making Michael Irvin proud by pushing off, getting a bit of separation. When that last SD TD, it was obvious that the receiver pushed off of McCourty and got that two feet of separation needed to make the catch in the endzone. Side note...that stupid dipsh*t Arrington was sitting IN the endzone waiting for the ball to come to him...as if no one on the Chargers was running for it. What a moron - way to be aware of the situation and surroundings. No wonder he was benched for Dowling and Bodden.

whatever happened to the TB rule that you can't dive at qb knees???? Brady almost got his acl torn again because Garay dived at his knees. That was the second time Garay did that after diving at his ankle, grabbing it and twisting it in the beginning of the game. Maybe I am crazy but I think the Chargers' defensive strategy was to hurt Brady at all costs. There were several other attempts to dive at his legs. Not one single penalty called. Rivers got the benefit of two bogus roughing the passer penalties.
I expect Garay will get fined. You may thumb me down now but when Garay gets his fine feel free to thumb yourself down on the next post.
