Santonio Holmes quietly was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, raising doubts about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Albert Breer of NFL Network reports that Holmes will “try to give it a go” despite his knee injury.  Holmes reportedly told teammates he’s playing.

The Jets are also unsure about the status of linebacker David Harris and safety Eric Smith.  Harris missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.

  1. Well that sucks. For my team, and my fantasy team. Still expect a victory, but stranger things have happened. 24-17? Seems reasonable.

  2. Hope Holmes is on the field or the jets ARE in trouble.Whos going to stretch the field if Holmes is a no go? 40 year old Mason or Buress?
THe jets will face 8 and 9 man fronts like that. With the o line not what it was the past 2 years this could be ugly. And god forbid one of the o linemen go down and DUcasse has to play! Sanchez will be on the sidelines eating hotdogs wiping boogers on oconnel while Brunell tries to sling the ball around.
    AHAHAHAh gotta love the Jets

  3. Maybe someday soon the dimwits that continue to beat the hell out of the “feet” jokes will have an original thought of thier own….Maybe
