Brett Favre isn’t coming out of retirement for a team that is already 0-2 and could be 0 for forever before he’s even ready to play. If he plays again, it will have to be for a team that still has a chance and can make a hero out of him.

Actually, Jeff George really could pick up the offense very quickly, he’s an extremely bright guy and I’m sure his arm is still stronger than most QB’s playing today.

That’s where the positives end though. His complete lack of character is the reason he’s been trying to get a job in the NFL forever, and can’t.

If the Colts get Luck I’m going to be pissed. They got Peyton freaking Manning for the last 12 years, he gets hurt and misses some time and they end up sucking so bad without him that they get the number one pick. They then take a really good young QB prospect. Peyton comes back healthy next season, finishes out his contract and retires, and they make a smooth transition into Andrew Luck once he’s had plenty of time to learn under one of the best QBs of all time.
