You are totally missing the point. This is only the tip of the iceberg, in my opinion. Berman is a character, and a great sportscaster. You don’t have to like him, but he isn’t a liar, and doesn’t work for a network that is all about putting their own subjective spin on whatever they report about to generate headlines and money. HOW exactly is “ESPN no better” than Fox?

This is about a NETWORK that is Full of S**t (not that this is surprising), but also very willing to write whatever it wants (fictitious or not) to be able to make more $ by attempting to grab more attention from its readers. This is about good ol’ fashioned deceit and greed – create headlines for profit. This doesn’t start and stop with sports – it goes much deeper than this.

Fox Network is a prime example of “lie, cheat, and say whatever you can to make a buck”. For a network that states itself to be “fair and balanced”, this is the furthest from the truth. Don’t lump in ESPN with this disgusting network, and this has NOTHING to do with pre-game honey-do lists. Not only did Fox MAKE UP headlines, then they lied about it on top of that.

You may not care about what they did, but don’t trivialize it and lump in other networks for supposedly doing the same thing. Give ME a friggin’ break, and wake up at the same time, bro.

Now, I can’t disagree with the assessment of Cutler, but can we PLEASE set the example of honesty being the best policy? Oh, wait, so sorry. I forgot there is that little issue of money involved. Fox pretty much sucks, has sucked, and hopefully there will be some strong backlash on this. What is disappointing is that they will still televise games that I don’t want to miss. I will attempt to boycott them, but it won’t be easy…..
