Of all the people I’ve met over the last 10 years in this business, there’s no one I’ve met who is as unique as Jay Glazer.
Only so much of his personality comes through on the FOX pregame show. The other 97.8 percent goes on display at 10:00 p.m. ET tonight, when HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel profiles Glazer.
I’ve gotten to know Jay pretty well over the past few years, and the guy on the show is exactly the guy that I know. He’s gregarious, loud, energetic, funny, periodically physically aggressive (he shoved a thumb into my larynx the first time I met him), but he’s ultimately good-hearted, hard-working, loyal, and honest.

Glazer will visit PFT Live tomorrow to talk about the profile and some of the stuff he’s been reporting lately, and whatever else comes up.
