APAs MDS pointed out earlier this afternoon, Eagles quarterback Mike Vick fully participated in practice on Thursday.
The team has since announced that Vick was cleared by an independent neurosurgeon to do so.
But that doesn’t mean Vick has been cleared to play on Sunday against the Giants. Team spokesman Derek Boyko tells PFT that it’s a “constant ongoing process.”
At this point, there’s no reason to think Vick won’t be cleared to play. But being cleared to take part in football activities in which quarterbacks aren’t supposed to ever be hit is a different proposition than being cleared to play in a game.

enough with Vick already….what’s going on with Tebow today???
If I see one more story about Vick and practicing, or not practicing, or spitting blood, or wearing a red jersey I am going to flip out. These are non stories. Wait until one big story develops. Ugh.
I can’t see him not playing at this point. I think Vick knows that and the Eagles know that. The Eagles are going to say they’re “uncertain” whether or not he plays until right before the game.
This happened last year with Aaron Rodgers. He was cleared to practice but was not cleared to play that weekend and he missed the game.
This just in: Vick brushes his teeth without sticking the brush in his eye, doctors say.
Has he been eating and going to the bathroom appropriately?
He has a new teflon helmet. He’s agreed to wear a mouth piece. The Giants are preparing as if he’s gonna play. Vick will start on Sunday.
“We talkin’ ’bout practice?”
Sincerely,
A.I.

By rule neither Vick nor the Eages have a say on wetherr or not he can play. That is soley up to the independent neurologist to detemine if he is o.k. play.
let him play. let him take the risk of getting hit again. won’t hurt my feelings. you know what happens when you get concussions?? increase risk of alzheimers. God loves pit bulls.
Let him play. I hope he gets his bell rung so hard the ringing never stops.
