APEagles backup quarterback Vince Young alerted the public this week that he’s been the victim of an impostor. Now that impostor has been caught.
The Prince George’s County Police Department has announced that a man named Stephan Pittman has been arrested on felony fraud charges for impersonating Young. The man was arrested without incident.
Young released a video this week saying he was disturbed to learn of the impostor.
“There’s a guy in D.C. running around saying he’s me,” Young said. “Keep watch out for this guy because he’s not me. He’s out there impersonating me. He’s been taking money, taking pictures with kids at hospitals. It’s real sick.”
And now, we hope, it’s coming to an end.

Still at large … the guy who claims to be “Garfunkel”, and that dude who says he’s “Oates”.
Wouldn’t anyone who cared enough about Vince Young to give him money or get their picture taken with him know enough to ask why he’s in DC instead of Philadelphia?

The guy who impersonated a couple of the Steelers got around $5,000 from folks he conned. Why would people give someone money because they think he’s a pro athlete? Star QBs don’t need your money. Cuckoo.
Police learned the man’s real name after they discovered that Vince had bought three signed #9 Eagle jerseys from him at a booth outside the shopping mall. “I like the color”, said Vince, “and I like the number 9, but what am I going to do with them now? They’re fakes.”.
Vince is just jealous……it was reported that Stephen Pittman had a QB rating 20pts higher than Vince’s and that Pittman actually got a couple correct answers on the Wonderlich test!
The guy visited and took pictures with kids in the hospital making them happy and brightening their painful lonely days? THAT IS FREAKING SICK! That bastard! How dare he bring joy to somebody’s mundane (but still probably horrifying) stay in the hospital?
You guys are giving this guy too much credit. How smart can you be if you have to impersonate VY? This guy has to be pretty dumb to think it’s a good idea to impersonate him.
