It was a rough day for cornerback Antonio Cromartie.

The Jets cornerback committed four penalties, lost a fumble on a kickoff, and suffered bruised lungs according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. He went to an Oakland-area medical center, but returned to the team. The Jets are calling it a “rib injury.”

Cromartie didn’t play the last six minutes of the game. The Newark Star Ledger reports Cromartie is “expected to be fine.” (Which is easy to say when you are talking about someone else’s bruised lungs.)

The Jets also reportedly fear that tight end Jeff Cumberland tore his Achilles, according to Mehta.
