problem is he’s NOT a pass rusher…he plays a very controlled game, defends the run and is solid in pass coverage.

He doesn’t do anything great “jack of all trades, expert of none” and in the bulk of today’s schemes you have to have some pass rush abilities to play on the outside regarldess of 4-3 or 3-4.

try transitioning him to ILB for a 3-4 and see how he does…NE perhaps?

You’re allowed to be $5 million over the cap this year, and the Eagles are currently $6,231,810.00 under the cap. So they’ve got $11,231,810.00 to play with. Don’t think they’ll trade for Curry, but just saying…

Can he be worse than Moises Fokou or Casey Matthews? Go get im, Howie.

Didn’t Mike Holmgren draft him in Seattle? And isn’t he in the front office of the Browns, not Bears?

Tim Ruskell was the former Seahawk GM who in 5 years took them from Super Bowl to smoking crater. He is now the number two (in more ways than one) personnel guy in Chicago.

Please be true! Even when this guy rarely happens to find himself in the right place at the right time, he still finds a way to not make the play.

Maybe he could thrive under a DC who would just turn him loose and not worry about any kind of disciplined play from him. He always seems to be 1-2 steps behind, slow diagnosing the play, but will be one of the first to pile after the tackle is made.

He does seem to have improved his tackling somewhat this year. (when he gets lucky enough to have someone run right at him or have a really slow guy trying to run away from him)

Angelo loves to add help at any position but WHAT WE NEED. Especially on defense.

He’s NOT a pass rusher, and has never been a pass rusher (go back and watch his high school and college tape). In Carroll’s system, outside linebackers need to rush the passer better then a typical 4-3 SAM would normally be capable of.

And the Seahawks would laugh all the way to the bank on that one…Cha Ching cha ching!

Holmgren was gone by then he was drafted under Mora and Ruskell.

Mike Singletary might be able to get Curry’s ability out! So why not give it a Chance Minnesota?

Curry can play some, he’s just not outstanding at anything. He’s a solid 3rd round talent as a football player, but off the charts as an athlete.

Everyone had him as the 4th pick in the draft, so it’s hard to kill the Seagulls.

However close inspection of recent drafts at nfl. com would reveal that each year about half of the first rounders underperform.

And for those of you that think he can rush the passer. Give that thought up now as he first has to learn to shed blockers.

And remember, he looks like he’s in on every play because he runs to the pile after the whistle blows.
