JDR would throw his mom under a bus to save his job, I hope WW knows this guy is a complete bum and so is every other coach on the team. Please get rid of this joke. The only way I want Jack to coach one more game with this team is he has to wear a reebox approved clown suit on the sideline, it would ooze with irony.

Well, take a look in the mirror and that is why you were so conservative…you are the hc so you should know what the gameplan is. Jack, even though you are the hc and have off def coordinators you are responsible for the gameplan…you do know that right?

If I’m the owner i want an explanation of what he does all day because obviously it’s not gameplanning…or anything resembling coaching.

Time for him to go. I don’t know if you wait until the bye week. Let the new coach have most of the season to evaluate talent and maybe win a few games.

Jack is just telling it like it is. He gave Koetter control of offensive play calling and Dirk did A LOUSY JOB IN THAT GAME. Del Rio doesn’t dodge blame where it’s warranted, but Koetter isn’t exempt from criticism any more than anyone else on the team. Del Rio is a straight up guy, one of the few execs in the league that qualifies for that description. The players like him and I think he will ride out the storm.

Seven years ago a long term head coach was under fire coming off a poor season. He drafted a “project” QB at #11 overall, the third QB taken in that draft. A rookie QB who was #3 in training camp, moved up to #2 due to injury, came in briefly in the second regular season game, then took over as a starter in the third regular season game. Bill Cowher and Ben Roethlisberger did alright for themselves from that point onwards.

I stood up and cheered when I heard they released Garrard.
I will also cheer when they can the coaching staff.
If this was a business where they were selling a product, oh wait they are. I would have cut the losses long ago for some dignity.

Gabbert has made some good decisions for a rookie.
A ROOKIE! I can take his learning this year, it’s miles ahead of what we have had to work with before.
He will do fine. The whole coaching staff is bad. It’s like we’re stuck in the 70′s with the play calling.
Hand off, hand off, 3rd and long, hand off, punt. Repeat next possession.
Honestly, I could run that offense.

The obligatory Los Angeles comment.. that didn’t take long. Sure in-state Oakland lifted its first blackout in 15 games and Tampa is on track for back-to-back blackout seasons, but let’s pile on the Jags with a knee jerk L.A. comment even though they had no games blacked out last year and their one home game this year was aired. It’s not like they put the same amount of fans in seats as the Steelers did last year.. oh wait. They did.

Raiders and Bucs have been around a while and both won Super Bowls.
Del Rio is a joke, go hire Urban Meyer, maybe that will keep the Jags from not moving. Jax should have never been given a franchise.

Anyway, one of the best article written about the Jags on this site. Del Rio is incompetent, Dirk Koetter is incompetent and this entire coaching staff is a joke. At what point in Wayne Weaver going to become serious about winning and stop with this circus. It’s for him to commit to HIS team and act like a owner who gives a damn about winning.
