So all last week we heard about Kerrigan and Orakpo, this week it’s Suh and Fairley. Here’s a little advice, Lions fans. They’re the Lions for a reason. You need to worry about Ware and Spencer. It’s not like the Cowboys don’t have 5 more sacks than the Lions going against better offensive lines.

-------------------

Here we go...

The Lions have been a joke for years, however, there was a time where the Cowboys were down also... (Quincey Carter anyone?). Bad trades? How is Roy Williams doing for you?!? LOL

Look at it this way, your team has just as many blunders as the lions, all the time letting Jerry Jones call the shots. (ain't that right Dez? You do what he says, not the coach... correct?)

Now, if you think Romo has seen the likes of the Detroit offensive line just by saying there was much to do about Kerrigan and Orakpo, you're naive and 'cute'. Do yourself a favor, get a comfy seat, make some popcorn, and get ready to wince over and over as the Lions D line gets at LEAST 10 hits on Romo.

I wouldn't worry about Fairley, since he's the FOURTH DT on the roster. I would worry about Avril, Corey Williams, LoJack, and KVB.

Lions are NOT a Superbowl team, but they will finish better than Dallas.

Matthew Stafford>Tony Romo

sorry</i>

--------------------------------------------------

People can rag on Romo all they want, sometimes for good reason, most times not. But this made me laugh. Sure, Romo has only won 1 playoff game, but Stafford has yet to even reach the playoffs, let alone even know what a .500+ season is like. And no, injuries can't be used as an excuse. That just means he isn't durable, giving Romo an even bigger edge. Romo is a long shot from being an elite QB (at least until when/if he gets a ring), but in terms of ability, toughness, and (newly found) leadership, he is a far better quarterback than Stafford.

By the way, Dallas averaged 1 FG every 10 minutes and ZERO TD’s.
———————————————–

I seem to recall the 2000 Ravens offense hadn't scored a single TD in 5 straight games, and yet they still won the SB that year. And their offense wasn't anywhere NEAR as profilic as Dallas has the potential to be, when healthy.

I'm not suggesting in any way that Dallas is going to, let alone winning, the SB this year. I'm just saying that not scoring a TD in a single game isn't a problem, especially if you get a win. Double especially if four of your starters on O are injured (Witt, Romo, Dez, Austin).

In addition to your glass of hatorade, why don't you try this tall cool glass of STHU?

@alaricsrevenge...I understand your frustration...you thought the Iggles would be undefeated this season, and instead, they are getting run over on a weekly basis. Their "all world" quarterback is whining because he's getting hit and instead of going to his offensive linemen, he complains about the officials. Yeah, I'd be frustrated too. howley1, nobody said anything about your defense. Clearly Dallas’ defense is a good one, it’s your offense that is terrible. What does your defense have to do with Romo getting sacked?

------------------------

What he was saying is that every week every teams' fans are saying "Romo better watch out for Kerrigan & Orakpo; Suh & Fairley, Freeny & Mathis, Tuck & Uminyora (sp?), etc...it's nothing new. Heard it all before. The Cowboys have a winning record when Romo is the QB, doesn't really matter who the other teams have on D.

As for the part about Ware & Spencer & Dallas' defense, he's saying the Lions have just as much, if not more to worry about when it comes to the opposition's defense next week.

By the way, through 3 games they’re the 5th ranked offense in the NFL. They’re averaging well over 6 yards per play and are converting third downs at the same rate as the Lions. They have the 2nd most 20+ yard plays behind the Pats and are averaging almost 9 yards per pass attempt. Doesn’t sound so bad to me, miscues notwithstanding.

I can't believe what a pedestal you guys put this joker on like he's some kind of unstoppable QB messiah. You just eat up the PR fluff that he had a "punctured" lung.... please. He wouldn't be able to breathe much less play football. Cracked ribs I can believe and he may have nicked the outer lining of his lung but the PR spin machine in Dallas make this dude out to be Wolverine and his punctured lung miraculously (sic) healed completely in 4-5 days.

He's an average QB at best, has done realitivly nothing in his career except win 1 playoff game and you fools make him out to be Roger Staubach.

What does your defense have to do with Romo getting sacked?

---------------------

I don't think you are in full grasp of the situation. Romo is not taking many sacks, considering the state of the OL and the pass rusher's they've gone against. Orakpo, Kerrigan, Willis, they have one combined sack against the Cowboys.

The Cowboys D is getting a lot of sacks and they've been facing some really good OLs. What does the D have to do with Romo getting sacked? More than you obviously think. A defense that can keep their offense on the field gives that offense more opportunities. The ability to sack the other QB plays a big part in that.
