Portis wants too much money… plus, you could pay Aaron Brown or an undrafted back significantly less to be a backup and you’ll get a guy with less wear and tear…

I’m surprised Johnny Lee Higgins is still out there… he’s fast, and returns kicks too… seems to be a versatile enough guy… must not be able to provide anything on special teams.

Two things stand out to me: I’ve seen Aaron brown play, he fast as Hell and he’s pretty versatile from what I’ve seen with the lions and I’m surprised he hasn’t caught on with a team. Second: I’m still slighty shocked Clinton portis hasn’t found a team.

I swear the Vikings are obsessed with defensive ends, despite that not really being their weakness at all right now. They had a ton of them in camp and every time I turn around they are kicking tires on someone else.

The surprise this week was Brodie Croyle. I thought he was still backing up Cassel in KC.

McDaniel signed with the Saints but got nailed in the first round of cuts.

What I’m curious is how the Patriots can try out McQuistan on Tuesday and then the Saints sign him Wednesday morning. Must be some lines of communication between the two teams.

Why isn’t Deandre McDaniel playing in the NFL? he was supposed to be the #1 Strong Safety in this years draft from Clemson. I wanted the Bucs to pick him up
