It’s been 21 regular season and playoff games with the Bears and Julius Peppers has showed up for every one of them.

Finley had a big game against the Bears
Now with Olsen and Shockey, idk.

Panthers have a shot as long as they don’t abandon that two tight end set they used against us in the first half.

Sure they had 400 passing yards (a ton in the 2nd half), but they aren’t a 5 wr team, 4 turnovers in the 2nd half is what helped us beat the Panthers.

Somebody seriously needs to start looking at Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy… Those 2 are some young defensive ends that are about to take the NFL by storm.

It is kind of a blessing in disguise that the Panthers are a small market with a big name QB.—When they do get any publicity it will solely go to Cam. People tend to forget about that Oline, Williams/Stewart, Olsen/Shockey, and 89.

I think it will be somewhat of a competitive game with Jordan Gross reminding Peppers why he is also a Pro Bowler, and if they move him to the other side Jeff Otah will handle him also. I see Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy having a field day against the Bears O-line and Cutler!

For the bears fans that think this is gonna be a walk in the park, here’s why you’re wrong.

Carolina is a few redzobe plays away from being 3-0. The cards will tell you they escaped and the pack would do the same. We were inside the 5 in both games with a chance to win or tie with little time left on the clock. I don’t care how you feel about the “2011 packers defense” as opposed to the superbowl defense from a year ago. It’s still the same unit and we could have easily taken a 21-0 halftime lead if we were even halfway decent inside the redzone… but we weren’t. We looked completely lost and it cost us both games in my opinion.

I expect a great ball game against a Bears team that you never know what you might get from. The Panthers are no longer a walk in the park for anyone.

I can understand why they’re salivating over the opportunity, they sense weakness in a vulnerable Bears team that is in a state of total disarray. The Panthers offense however is racking up tremendous yards and getting better.

Newton should have a field day pillaging the horrid Bear Defense and the inept Bear offense will abandon Martz’ vanilla & predictable run attempts after 6-9 of them fail to get the ball past the line of scrimmage.

I predict 9-7 for the Panthers this year and maybe 6-10 for the Bears since they get to play teams like KC and Minnesota and even Denver.

ive been saying it for days. carolina will win this game. weather is supposed to be sunny and 62. prefect football weather. Jordan Gross has faced peppers so many times in training camp and practice. If jimmy Pickle wasn’t playing last season we would have beat the bears. Carolina defense is going to destroy that bears offensive line.

I can understand why they are fired up for sure, that’s normal. That said, now they are both either in a better circumstance to succeed (Olsen as a receiving TE), or they have gotten an opportunity for a promotion on a young team with some talent (Rivera).
