IMO, this “being himself” stuff is BS. Ocho’s problem is he came from an undisciplined offense to a precision offense w/complicated timing and option routes w/o OTA’s. He also is putting too much pressure on himself because he wants to do well. He doesn’t need to be ‘the guy’ there, should get a little slack.

Still, there’s no excuse for dropping wide open TD passes or running bad routes that cause INTs.
I’d still rather have Moss.

The routes are off, just too long or two short. He hesitates, makes the wrong reads, etc.

Take last week for instance, he smoked the man in coverage and dropped a wide open 40 yard TD catch. Thats not age, his legs did the job, he just dropped the ball.

He catches that and he has over 70 yards and a TD for the game. He drops it and he is too old.

If they did, Chad might be a lifelong Bengals and Carson Palmer might still be their quarterback. Instead the team sticks with coaches who produce mediocrity for way too long. Hue should have taken over for Bratowski as offensive coordinator in 2007 before he jumped ship for the Falcons, and 3-4 years later he should have been taking over for Marvin Lewis as head coach. If you can turn around the Raiders, you can turn around the Bengals!
