After a false start two weeks ago, Arian Foster is ready to give it another shot this weekend against the Steelers.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said that Foster “looks good” in practice and that he is set to play his second game of the season this weekend. The concern is that Foster’s hamstring might not be ready for heavy use after his first attempt to play this season, Week Two against the Dolphins, ended at halftime after Foster reaggravated the injury that kept him out of the season opener against the Colts. That doesn’t appear to be a concern for Kubiak this week.

“We’re going to put him back to work full-time and see how he holds up,” Kubiak said, via Nick Scurfield of the Texans website.

If Foster does get a full workload, you can expect to see a lot less of Ben Tate. Tate ran for more than 100 yards in each of the first two weeks and had 82 yards on 19 carries against the Saints last week. Tate scored just one touchdown, however, and the team is struggling to find a way to get more touchdowns out of their trips to the red zone. In 26 red zone rushes this year, the Texans have run for one yard or less 11 times.
