Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora make trip to Arizona

Earlier this week, Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck said the following about his neck injury: “If I get on that plane and go to Arizona,” he said, “I’m playing.”

Well, he got on the plane.

Multiple New York outlets report that Tuck and Osi Umenyiora were both on the team plane Saturday despite their questionable tags. Tuck is battling a neck injury.  Umenyiora is looking to make his season debut after knee surgery.

There’s a good chance both of them will suit up now that they’ve made the cross country trip.

The Giants will also have Mario Manningham (concussion) and Hakeem Nicks (knee) in the lineup.  They were listed as probable.

No time for a let down now guys. Not to mention this season the Giants’ records without and with Tuck are 0-1, 2-0, respectively.

Gosh, I hope Osi didn’t get disrespected on the plane. Or by the plane. Poor guy.

now that the giants have linebackers, i think the defense will be considered a top 3-5 unit in the league by mid-november.

anyone else notice Tuck walking around during plays in that Eagles game? He looked like a slim version of Albert Haynesworth.

No word on whether Osi had to pay a fee for all that emotional baggage he carries around

That means a chance of Kolb facing Tuck, Osi and JPP on the line at the same time. And Kolb was only worried about a “step” back? Poor little fella.

Hey Russian breadmaker how dare you compare Justin tuck to haynesworth !!!! Tuck is a beast and clearly was not 100% but he’s a better player even at half strength so please don’t pit them two in the same sentence ……

jmota, I’m just calling what I see. He was literally walking during a play. I was shocked. The Giants should have put that backup #71 in the game.

the fact that you refer to dave tollefson as “that backup #71” shows how little you know about the giants. if you’re going to comment you should know what the **** you’re talking about. tuck is widely considered to be the most complete DE in the game you and you’re insinuating that he’s dogging it? he has a screwed up neck and a strained groin. get a clue numbnuts.
