Chris Hope breaks his arm

Anthony Fasano, Chris Hope AP

Titans safety Chris Hope missed his first game since 2007 a few weeks back.

It looks like he’ll miss a lot more this season.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports Hope broke his forearm Sunday. Coach Mike Munchak says the team expects Hope back at some point this season, but clearly he’ll be out a while.

The Titans kept Hope at a big salary despite declining production because they are thin at safety. We’ll see how thin in the coming weeks.

This helps out the Steelers next week, even though they are going to win anyhow!

I Hope they have a good backup…Kenny Britt was not as horrible of a loss as some may think though. Matt is used to having no receivers to throw to. His time in Seattle taught him to roll with what he’s given and make something outta nothing. I still say had he had even one decent receiver in his 2005 super bowl year the Seahawks would have a trophy and the Steelers would have been sent home crying.

Yeah … The steelers … We are deathly afraid of them , with , umm …. but you have ummmm …. well you have been playing ummmmm …. Come to think of it , your line is horrendous – Harrison ( as well as the rest of the squad ) is over the hill – and you guys have been playing like the Chiefs . … The steelers are irrelevant this year , in fact , you guys just might end up with the 6th pick in the draft .

Couldn’t disagree with you more. The team does have issues, that’s very apparent. This issues are typically from being exposed in key match ups. How do most teams fair against freeny, mathis, mario williams and the ravens d? Not well… That being said, the season is very young. The Steelers are a week to week team with a favorable schedule. Remember dude, we still play 3 more NFC west teams.

Titans coming in on the road – should be close – but the edge at Heinz Field will go the home team.

All that being said, if Ben is serious hurt the 6th pick would be reasonable.

———————————————————-6TH PICK? I can see you know nothing about football! Steelers outplayed by Houston and only lost by 7? Tenn, Jack, Cincy and browns twice, az, rams whiners and K.C. still left! 10 wins easily..watch and see…..

So Stairwayto7 …. You’re banking on beating lesser teams , not necessarily being a good team ? LMAO … Point taken .

Browns can beat the Steelers , AZ has a better chance and The Chiefs ? That will be a battle of two equal teams .

You guys have reached the zenith , now its time to watch the freefall . It happens when you only concentrate on 2 positions in the draft and rarely are any of the picks are quality .

And Otto … Would a key matchup be any said member of opposing team vs any said member of your offensive line ?
