Good teams shouldn’t almost blow a 27-7 second half lead to Seattle. Good teams shouldn’t let the Seahawks attempt a game-winning field goal.

After four games, we’re just not sure the 2011 Falcons are a good team.

The Falcons escaped 30-28 Sunday when Steven Hauschka missed a 62-yard field goal to win the game with time running down. That attempt was a long shot, but it was remarkable the Seahawks even had the chance.

Atlanta possessed the ball for more than 40 minutes, but gave up too many big plays to Tarvaris Jackson in the second half. Jackson threw for a career-high 319 yards and three touchdowns, but also threw two picks.

Julio Jones had his second straight big week with 11 catches for 127 yards, and Matt Ryan played his cleanest game of the year. Still, this game should have been easier for Atlanta.

After going 13-3 last year, this Falcons team is going to have to scratch and claw to make the playoffs this year.
